Break ups to Make Ups

Has anyone broken up with someone and then gotten back together?
What happened, how long was the breakup, and what did you guys do to get back together?
This information can help other people who might be going through the same situation.

A long time ago... I broke up with a girl while a senior in highschool, we were apart for about 6 months, while the wild oats were sown

Then we got back together because we both really wanted to.... no more oats to be sown I guess.  We eventually went our own ways when we went off to college, but to this day (over 20 years later), we remain very good friends.
